SUBJECT: Next Meeting, and assorted information

An agenda is attached for your next meeting, which will be Wednesday, January 16th, 6-8 pm, at the Lee County Administration Building, 2115 Second Street, 1st Floor meeting room.

This meeting is devoted to issues that you have requested.  First, will be a brief presentation from County Natural Resources on the effort being undertaken on the fertilizer ordinance.  Second will be the deferred “complete streets” initiative, by which the human scale is reincorporated into street design.  There will also be a preview of the rural lands/environmental systems management and planning agenda item for February.

There will be the usual progress report on activities that the Smart Growth Committee sponsored or otherwise initiated.

Looking forward to seeing you Wednesday and I hope that you each have had a Merry Christmas and a good start for a Happy New Year.
