SUBJECT: Next Meeting, and assorted information
An agenda is attached for your next meeting, which will be Wednesday, June 18th, 6-8 pm, at the Lee County Administration Building, 2115 Second Street, 1st Floor meeting room.
And now, to the heavy lifting. The next meeting will be a discussion of the County Land Development Code/Regulations, (LDR, LDC) and the impact these codes have on urban form. For anyone wanting to preview the Land Development Regulations/Code, here is the website:
http://www.lee-county.com/dcd/GeneralInfo/LeeCountyLDC.htm Copies will NOT be made or distributed, but one will be available for perusing during discussions.
The success of the Community Planning process depends in large part on the Land Development Regulations. At least one community planning panel has developed a community design function, and others are along the way. At this location, you can review the approach taken by Estero:
http://esterofl.org/Developers/index.htm Staff will present a review of who is doing what next Wednesday.
Also to be discussed are the various loose ends, McMansion’s, Complete Streets, and anything that derived from our workshop in May.
See Agenda Below
