2.         Administrative Matters

         A.         Minutes of January 15, 2002

Action Needed:            Accept and approve the minutes as amended by discussion of the members.

3.      Action and Recommendations Section

         A.         Transportation Issues to Recommendations (Attached)

The workshop recommendations of January 24th has been reworked into categories tied to the issues, which may or may not be acceptable to the committee and may be revised or removed. The minutes statement is also attached for acceptance.

Action Needed: Review, amend, and/or approve the preliminary recommendations.

Suggestions: Determine whether issues without recommendations need to remain on the “issue list.” Upon approval of the preliminary recommendations, staff will review current County plans and rules to determine if these are covered to some degree, and will provide a review of progress on the ones currently included.

B.         Community Character Issues Progress Report (Attached)

Action Needed: Review, amend, and/or approve the Issue List for Day Workshop.

Attached is the minutes of the February 5th workshop. Attached also please find the revised “Sacred Places” list, divided into categories, by the initiative of Co‑chairman Gilkey.

Discussion Item.      Perhaps establish a subcommittee (perhaps the co‑chairs?) to draft/review outline of report to the Board of County Commissioners

B.           Review the Land Use Workshop work book

         Discussion Item.      The Workbook for the February 28th workshop will be reviewed, and revisions hurriedly pursued.

         Discussion Item.      Workbook is expected to be prepared by February 10th. (The Water/Environmental Quality Workbook will not be complete until after the 28th workshop, but will be mailed to you by March 3rd for the March 14th workshop)

C.          Outreach

         Discussion Item.      Begin discussions on Outreach program.
