You have the report but I have extracted parts for anyone whose report may have wandered or may not have had the report from December 2003.
These attachments constitute the Smart Growth recommendations reformatted to fit the receiving document.
The MPO recommendations have already been reviewed by the MPO, incorporated where appropriate in the MPO goals, and the remainder was considered to be included when the MPO plan is refined to the detail that most of the recommendations are currently directed.
The Lee Plan recommendations have been recognized as appropriate for inclusion in workshops once the Evaluation and Appraisal Report is completed. Smart Growth issues were included in the EAR.
The Charlotte Harbor Management Plan (CCMP) recommendations are infolded into the update information that the National Estuary Program will be considering for its update.
The Southwest Florida Feasibility Study and the Lower West Coast Water Supply Plan are being vigorously updated with input from Smart Growth committee members and staff, and Lee County Departmental staff.
The Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council has the recommendations for inclusion when the next Strategic Regional Policy Plan update begins, but as of now the Legislature is discussing significant changes to the Regional Planning role that may reformat the Regional Plan.
