SUBJECT: Next Meeting and Assorted Information

An agenda is attached for your next meeting, which will be Wednesday, June 20, 6-8 pm, at the Lee County Administration Building, 2115 Second Street, 1^st Floor meeting room.

The agenda is largely set by the discussions of the last meeting, and the Committee’s request.

Based upon the five Global Trends presentation at the last meeting, staff will periodically provide information for general information.  Regarding the climate change, the reference below will take you to a web site regarding a National Defense Review: http://www.securityandclimate.cna.org/

Regarding oil and debt, the attached report given to the Club of Rome indicates a fairly negative review, and staff is looking for other points of view.
