SMART GROWTH

SUBJECT: Next Meeting, and assorted information

An agenda is attached for your next meeting, which will be Wednesday, October 14, 6-8 pm, at the Lee County Administration Building, 2115 Second Street, 1^st Floor meeting room.

This month’s agenda involves a review of the County’s current status on a comprehensive energy strategy.  Further, there will be a review of the Regional/County power point on antiquated communities (with possible legislation).  There will also be provided for information purposes the review of current rail conditions and use.  An update on the Community Planning Program and Complete Streets progress will be given. 

Should there not be a quorum; the request of the Committee is to establish itself as a Committee of the Whole, to receive information and to critique the information.

The Rail and Energy summaries are attached.
