GREYFIELDS
PRESENTATION
Redevelopment for mixed
uses.
"Greyfields" is a term used to identify aging
commercial areas that have had their original market purpose bypassed
or absorbed by other commercial areas. These are sites that have
adequate infrastructure, but now are not fulfilling their role in
meeting the community's economic or social needs. As such, they become
candidates for private or publicly initiated redevelopment. The
presentation below provides local examples of "Greyfields."
