Lee Master Mitigation
Plan
The Lee County Master Mitigation Plan is the result
of a multi-agency, public private initiative. This initiative
identified the critical environmental features which the public/county
should consider restoring or protecting for the water resources and
habitat values of the County. As such it is, also a guide to
Public Works agencies for identifying sites for remediation of the
impacts of necessary Public Works Projects. The LeePlan Amendments of
May 2007, endorsed this approach in region-wide Natural Resource
Protection and Restoration.
